Also depends on how it was cared for all these last 15+ years... regular oil changes, coolant changed regularly, no understanding of the terms "speed shifting", etc will make a big difference. My last stock motor went 257,000 miles. A semi totalled the car while I was commutng home from work. The motor has been torn apart, found to be immaculate(as it should), & was uncerimoniously transplanted complete into another fox 'vert....

Also depends on how much you wanna spend. Or how much you can spend on it.

well. you should be able to get into the 11's with good slicks, suspension mods and about 350rwhp and 3:73 gears or lower. itll be hard to do that on a stock bottom end. a 331 or 347 stroker with all forged internals, good h/c/i, mass air, TB 24injectors, bigger fuel pump, few other little things will find you some 11sec times. 10's? that will take victor jr heads, rpm II intake and a pretty big cam. you can do it all and still be streetable though.
