Default Oil Pressure
I have a 302 with some work done, and when im at idle (600-800 rpms) my oil pressure is irradic, and when im on it it starts to drop slightly. when crusing it is up and when normally accerlerating it is up. is this normal. if not what is causing it.

Yep, usual suspect. Buy a new sender or pony up and buy a good aftermarket mechanical gauge.

how can i replace the sending unit myself? do u have to lift the engine and drop the pan?
