F 303 cam question.

F 303 cam question.
Ok so i'm a noob, and im hopefully buying an 89 notch tomorrow. The car has an F 303 cam and i've been doing a little bit of reading about it and i'm seeing some people say it doesn't pass emisions, is this true? If so what can be done to make the car pass?? Thanks

well summit racing doesnt list a CARB EO Number for the F cam, so there is a good chance it does NOT pass emissions, in which case there prolly isnt much you could do to make it pass... thats my best guess.
however the B303 isnt suppoed to pass emissions either but I've heard of people getting through.

Does anyone know for sure, cause def gonna be a pain to have to change the cam before i can get it on the streets. My car will be gone this week, its sold just waiting for it to get picke d up so i'm not gonna wanna have no car while waiting to get a new cam in to pass emisions.

you can change your timing, install a catted mid pipe, and futz with your fuel pressure to get the car to lean out, and clean its exhaust a bit. If you know someone who does the emissions testing, you can take the car out for a ride and warm it up before they get it up on the machine

only one place that does emisions here, live on an island the 2 guys are kind of dicks too so i'll have to figure something out. My dad always said he's known people who put cardboard in front of of the radiator so it runs hotter and leans it out a bit wonder if that would work.

i know it hasn't been that long just trying to figure this all out as soon as possible since i'm traveling about 3hours tomorrow to look at this car and potentialy buy it. I'm use to a local forum for my srt where there are always tons of people on who answer questions super fast sorry for being anyoing, hopefully i can BS my way through the emisions test if the f303 doesn't pass. Thanks for your response though.
