Default Has anyone changed their weather stripping?

The run chanel on the doors. The piece that the window closes against. I put new ones in and my windows wont close all the way??
On the outside there is a rubber flap, does it go on the outside of the metal clip or on the inside? Maybe someone can take a picture up close of a section.

exactly, I know the inside of that part overlaps the metal door lip thingy, but on the outside does it overlap or go inside the metal clip/lip thingy?

Its getting stuck right at the top. So I have a 1/8" gap at the top of both my windows. The motors are still old so that might be the problem.
