Default track times..

I went to the track last night,I have 3.73's,h-pipe,flowmasters,timing 13 deg's,people say that I would get mid 13's-14s,depending on how I drive,I seen that most of the imports were running that, thats a little depressing...

i dont think youll hit 13's without drag radials, but you should get close, auto or stick, trust me those imports have alot more into there cars than you, you should be right on the edge of 13's with realy min. mods if you have a 5 sp.

I dont think you can hit low 14 with what you got. The adders that you got are not that much. The gears are your best mod and thats not going to shave a second off your et. With drags you can hit low 14's if you launch right but hitting the 13's isnt going to be easy. Before you go take all unecessary weight out of your car IE spare, seats stuff like that.

I'll say this... it won't happen yet. I have a cobra intake, powerdyne 6psi blower, and full exhaust with 3.73 and stock suspension on 245/55 street tires... oh yeah, and shifting with a tremec TKO trans that set me back about 1500 dollars with clutch, and that's used... and this shifts much finer than the old T5 that used to be in it... definitely helps the car run a bit quicker.... no pass seat and ice on the intake... Only the ice and removal of pass seat has allowed me to break the 13.50 barrier, and get to the 13.20s. I realize I may not be the best at track driving yet, and my trap speed tellsme I should run mid 12s, but I just don't think you'll see 13s.... I honetsly just got it out there for the second time... the first time was two weekends ago, and I was running consistent 13.9s and 13.7s, and then my last run, I managed a 13.55.... I saw stockish full weight GT hatches running in the low 15s, and one 14.9. These cars are fast don't get me wrong, but it will take some work to get into 13 second zone, even high 13s.

t5 actually has a higher (numeric) first gear wich is a slight bit quicker off the line than the tremec, tremecs are really mad for road race.
