Timing

Someone please tell me the proper way to set timing and the proper way to set the idle. my new engine idles to high sometimes and sometimes it dies.

This is for timing http://www.muscularmustangs.com/timing.php For the idle there is a screw on the TB that adjusts the amount of air going into the car for idle. Just use that.

Oh yeah adjust idle while the car is on so that you can go look at the Tach and see where you are at.

Yeah but it seems like the idle will not stay consistant now.

Clean your IAC or replace it.
