Is this track time BS?
My brother has a friend with an 87-93(not sure) convertible 5.0. The guy said he ran a 14.5 stock, and took off his serpentine belt and ran a 14.1. Does this add up? That seemed way too low but who knows? My brother rode in it and verified that it is 100% stock.

stock 5.0 is supposed to put 190-200hp at the wheels.

i know a guy with ported and polished heads on a 85 5.0 stock exhaust with and its carb and 5 speed and a BCAM.. pretty much stock.. no suspension mods or anything.. ive been in the car with him.. we've smoked TRANS AM WS-6's!!! i was really surprised.. and we also took it to teh track that ngiht and ran a 13.7.. i was totally shocked..

^^^The guy w/ the TA must not have known how to drive it. No offense to your friend, but a stock LS1 puts down ~300+ to the ground and comes w/ 3.55's in the manual. I don't see him beating a good driver....

im serious! he smokes the **** out of my vert oh iyeah i frgot to say his is a vert too.. used to be a 4 banger. i dont have much but i have longtubes OR H and 2 1/2 tails and a K&N filter.. and damn he is really quick
