Default RE: Headers?

I have been planning on getting BBK equal length shortys and I am still undecided on whether or not to go with an x-pipe with high flow cats or O/R with no cats (also BBK). Does anyone have any experience or suggestions?

i am also running bbk equal length shorties. the only reason i had a hard time putting them in is because i believe my motor mounts are sagging a little bit. i had clearance issues with my steering shaft.

on a side note.... im running tjhe same setup that you are looking for. BBK equal shorties, BBK o/r x-pipe, but i have MAC Pro Dumps... ive got a vid floating around somewhere..

DO NOT GET LONG TUBES UNLESS YOUR CAR HAS THE POWER TO BACK THEM UP... you WILL lose power with long tubes on a stock motor

Chrome is cheaper, but it will turn blue pretty quick. find the part number for the ceramic ones and google it. You can probably find them cheaper than summit, but if not, summit usually has decent prices and it's only $9 for S&H.

the ceramic ones will help dissipate heat a little better, but more importantly won't corrode.

^^ I love BBK headers... if you have an automatic my advice is to just stay away from MAC LT's.
