i am also running bbk equal length shorties. the only reason i had a hard time putting them in is because i believe my motor mounts are sagging a little bit. i had clearance issues with my steering shaft.

on a side note.... im running tjhe same setup that you are looking for. BBK equal shorties, BBK o/r x-pipe, but i have MAC Pro Dumps... ive got a vid floating around somewhere..

DO NOT GET LONG TUBES UNLESS YOUR CAR HAS THE POWER TO BACK THEM UP... you WILL lose power with long tubes on a stock motor

that's gotta be the stupidest thing I have ever heard......

youve gotta be the stupidest person in the world.. it has been dyno proven that long tubes on a stock motor causes a lack in back pressure and a loss in torque

no **** it causes a decrease in back pressure, all upgraded exhaust does. and there is no way in hell a stock motor, and v8, is losing power with longtube headers. low end torque? yes, some of that is lost, but at peak hp, your gaining at least 15. not losing, at all.

Im getting magnaflow exhaust system this one to be exact, MagnaFlow Dual Exhaust System
5.0L V-8, LX/Cobra,2.5" Tubing, Rear Exit, 3" Tip. Whats my best bet if im going with a s/c for headers(Im looking at BBK LTH but i dont know measurements,5/8"? 3/4"?) and an Offroad only x-pipe, so no converters. Thanks for any help

if youll be under 400 hp get 1 5/8, if more than that id get 1 3/4. youll like the magnaflows dude. different sound than the everyday mustang. they sound killer at WOT.

I'm wanting to get some headers also,I'm told that long tube headers are better for high end, thats probably what I would want to get, because thats where my car lacks a little,I have an h-pipe,would I have to change that?

I went with Bassani offroad x-pipe, and Bassani ceramic shorty headers and the sound is unmatched and they are proven as one of the best and you feel a BIG difference in power.
