Man screw a Miata. Hell get a AMERICAN engineered car, such as a Vega, hell even the chevy isnt that bad. But get a pinto or something a drop a big block into it, dont sell out and get a chick car and put a v-8 in it. Yea, fast...Cool factor----none existant.
Actually if you think abou it, a stroked out 408 with a S/C in one of our lightened cars....it actually equals out and they're MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE COOL.
Sorry guys, but i wouldnt even let my girlfriend drive a Miata...hell, knowing her, SHE wouldnt even let me buy her one...she wants a 5.0....thats a real chick.

the other day i got into an argument with some kid about miata's being a girls car he said they are fast and they are in need for speed underground. that kid he thought is was the same as a rx7. i personally wouldnt ever want one and making one fast is just a waste but if i was given the chance to drive one that was fast then i would.

heh, heh..... Here is a story to tell.....
i got a buddy that own's his own performance shop(he's one of my two sponsors at the track). he has a customer with a Neon SRT4. He builds it up, owner breaks it, my buddy builds it back up, & owner breaks the Neon again, etc. The neon is pushing 500 front wheel horsepower & lives for a couple days at most impressing people until it once again breaks. Neon owner is getting tired of the breakage & down time; he's got the money so cost is not even part of the equasion. He's watching all of us Mustang guys make power & stay together in one piece for far longer than his Neon could ever dream of. My buddy & I try to convince him to buy Mustang, make more power, & enjoy it for a longer period of time than he ever has in the Neon. Neon owner is only half convinced...... So he goes & buys a Monster Miata.... The rest is history. It currently has a 331 stroker with a Kenne Bell supercharger on it. In mild tune & full exhaust; 400+rwhp & 440 rwtq. He has blown the stock 5.0, the rear support that retains the rear axel housing, etc.... But.... It is on the street far more than the Neon ever has. End of true Cinderella story....

i find it very funny that most of you guys hate that car cause its a ricer when its owned by ford and actually made in america and the new mustangs are made out in other countries the only american made ford right now are their trucks
