Default 1990 with 18's?

Hello all,

Does anyone have a 1990 with 18's and any type performance springs. I have a 1990 convertible with Eibach springs on them. I am ordering rims and I am afraid the 18s will rub. Anybody have this set up?

Thanks

how far is the drop and what size tire/rim are you planning on running? the widest you can probably run will be the 245 in the rear and that is with a 9 inch wide wheel and without rubbing. the front mgiht rub depending on how tall your tire is.

I have 18s and I just ordered my Sportlines, should be a problem. I got about 2 inches of clearance from the fender.

It prolly gonna depend on the tire, I got 235/40's and they should work.

235-40 on a 18. Does your car ride smooth. rim's are in reach for me in the near future. curious how rough the ride would be with 18's?

yeah that might be a little overkill with the few mods I have now plus it would be an expensive tire to show off with. I figured the bigger the rim the ruffer the ride sound right to you?
