My thow out bearing is making a chirping noise. I was wondering if the throw out bearing goes if it can hurt my car. Or what should i do about this?

get an adjustable clutch cable, then you can take up the slack.

throw out bearings are friction bearings that slide on your input shaft to clutch..

more likely it got hot one too many times, and no it won't go away with just an adj. clutch cable..

if i'm not mistaken...it can scar the shaft...cause premature failure to your pilot bearing, and then say by-by tranny, and clutch.

If your car still has an alumunim throwout retainer then it's only time before it eats it then it's trashed. The throwout bearing is only like $40 for a good one and a steel replacement throwout retainer is $39.99 from summit. Get it done and forget it.
