Default Changing the Tranny fluid
I dont have a owners manual and I need to know what type of fluid and how much I need in a 1994 GT 5-speed

On the side of the tranny there 2 Hex bolts, take the lower one out to drain the fluid and use the one on top to pump new fluid in.

Check the procedure at http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...3d801da644.jsp....it uses Mercon ATF and the capacity is 5.6 pints. Hope this helps.

Just top it out with Dextron/Mercon auto fluid.

Dont use gear oil.
