no i have a clearanced motor so i have more blow by and oil sits in my tb. i think im just going to run a oil seporator.

thats what I would do. evac pumps are usually put on engines that cant create very much vacuum. like drag motors with huge cams. from what ive been reading they arent very streetable anyways.

well that because it has too much clearance....not really good to have a "loose" engine for street use...run tubes from your valve covers to the collector of the headers,

exactly. you'd probably clog up your mufflers eventually. now if you werent running mufflers that might be ok.

You could set your smog pump for vacuum, but it won't last that long....if oil gets into the pump it will get damaged.....there are other options you could check, but they are expensive (electrical or mechanical)....$189 for the FRPP less expensive alternative. They also have a performance benefit though, in addition to controlling crankcase pressure.

^^ yea but what about the problems with sucking oil out of the pick up and things like that? i was reading about it and it seams risky to.

it is risky, thats why they're usually on drag cars that get rebuilt after every race. i dont think it would suck oil out of the pick up if it didnt get a lot of vacuum, and if you kept it higher up on the motor, like at your PCV location. as for performance they were saying it showed like 16 to 20 hp gain on a dyno. that seems far fetched but who knows. i could see it happening.
