What do you guys think about oil?

syn... it flows better at lower temp..helps cold starting wear, less friction adding mileage and hp to the car..etc

depends, if u have a high mileage motor u might get leaks with synthetics b/c the chemical makeup is thinner and it will get through worn seals and gaskets. If u wanna be safe just run a good quality regular oil like mobil 1 and ull be good with that. I use mobil one performance oil. 10-30w

Synthetic, unless you have a high mileage engine. the small molecular makeup will make some higher mileage engines start leaking.

mobil 1 is full synthetic, and it is good.
on my old motor, I changed to mobil 1 and gained 2 tenths in the quarter.
the new motor had regular oil for break-in, and then the mobil 1 went in.
I recently tried royal purple, and for the price, I cant notice a difference, but its only been 3 weeks though.
