I bought some M/T ET Street Radials (275/60/15) to mount on my Centerline Warrior Wheels. I bought the wheels used and I think the guy said they had 4.5" backspacing. BIG PROBLEM!!!!!

After I had the M/T's mounted the rubbed BADLY on the Drivers' side.

What backspacing do I need without having to do ANY modifications to make these things fit????

HELP PLEASE!!!!

BTW, I did lots of research before I bought the tires and thought I would be OK! UUUUUGGGHHHH@!!!

I was afraid of that!!!

It's probably going to be cheaper for me to just by two new 255/60/15. The shop I bought the 275's from is not cutting me any slack since I saw the tires on the car and drove it off anyway.

Can someone tell me if the 255/60/15 will be OK with the rims I have now? Specs say they are about .9" shorter and about .4" less wide.

Yep! It actually cut a groove into tire. I am so bummed right now. I was all pumped on getting these tires put on today. I am supposed to talk to the owner of the shop tomorrow to see if there is anything else they can do.

I didn't even put 5 miles on the tires!!!!!!!!

hold up....i'm running 275/60/15's bfg d/r's and my 88gt hatch(well back half is sloppy)...i rubbed one time,and that was at the track with 15psi...
