Default Twisted wedge head pushrods?

Hi, I emailed Trick Flow couple days ago with the question, will stock pushrods from a '95 GT work with their heads. They haven't gotten back to me yet. I have an E303 cam, and their site says needs other pushrods but to see directions. I am buying used heads and hence no directions...

Can anybody help me out here... the guy I'm buying the heads off of says he'll send his pushrods from his TF cam, but I'm not sure they'll work either. Anybody know the correct size I will need with 1.6 rollers...

Thanks

Im pretty sure i read somewhere that the heads needed .50" longer than stock pushrods. At any rate weather or not im correct on the above, you should get some aftermarket hardened pushrods and guide plates to go with the heads. ALSO, don't use the stock Stamped style rocker arms with em. They say that the stockers will wear the seats out, so use some good true roller rocker arms with them as well just to be safe.

One more thing, before you slap the other guys pushrods in your engine, buy a pushrod length checker and make sure of the size you need. They're not too complicated to use, and they're relativly cheap as opposed to bending the pushrod, or a valve or something silly. Check summit, or jegs for the pushrod checker.

Yeah, trick flow recomends their own rockers, but any quality aftermarket peice should work fine as long as it's a REAL roller rocker. I can't remember where i read it at (or even if it was regarding TF heads, i been checking out alot of heads lately), but im pretty sure it was .50" longer than stock. Buy a checker before you buy new rods though, you may be able to use your stock hardende ones.

you do need longer push rods for the Twisted Wedge heads

you need 6.7" rods.

these are the same rods they sell in their complete
kit with 1.6 rocker arms

yeah, just wouldn't reccomend the stock style stamped ones. And like it said in the article, check your own pushrod length just to be sure.
