Default What should I do with my rear end?

Right now I wanna put gears in my car and in the next year, year and a half Im going to put on a vortech/procharger, Im affraid with 373 and a s/c I will have to much power that I will just go sideways when I floor it, But im thinking dragradials will help, so ill have 73s, s/c and drs...I shouldnt fish tail but I dont think the axles can hold this, or should I just do 55s?? help me out with my cars future

I say the 3.73 but thats an opinion.

Might wanna look into an anti-roll bar if available. They help with wanting to go sideways but make for lil rougher ride.
They also help hook better as well.

So You think just stick some 373s in her and keep saving til i can get a s/c, DRs, suspention? and my axles arent going to break with 350+hp and tq hooking up on DRs? and Im not going to go crazy with sideways and stuff, like racing it shouldnt be a problem?

because she already goes sideways and went I shift 2 2nd the whole car jumps a little to the side I can image having gears and a s/c it seems like you would just die drivign it fast, like jumping around in a 180 when u shift

I would probably go with the 3.55's. you don't need that much gear with a S/C'ed car.

I would say 3.73 and a s/c together fine just need to practice shifting quick.
I have a buddy that was running close to 475 on stock axles with no problem. Dont know if he ever lauched with dr or not. i know he did on my mccreary dirt tires though before dr's came so popular and didnt break anything.

3.55 and 3.73 not going to be able to tell much difference etween the 2. If you already have 3.73 keep em if not its your car do what you want, but the difference between the 2 isnt much.
