Probably leaking heater core. Is it wet under the dash or on the carpet?

Have fun. I know after having my car bare how hard it looks to service that thing, same with the blower motor... why the hell didn't ford put that on the back of the heater housing instead of the front...? So I replaced it all when I did up my car.

mustangs most likely wont get wet carpet from a bad heatercore, that sounds like your problem, they have a drain hole for when the heater core blows out, run the car and look under the hood below the 2 heater lines you will see a little black hole thats the heater core drain if you see antifreeze comin out dripping or poring than its the heater core

I don`t smell anifreeze but I do get a little puddle of anifreeze on the ground in that area. Hmmm, wonder if mine is getting bad? Would that be near the firewall on the passenger side? Wondered where it was coming from, just thought it would show up somewhere sooner or later.

No, you're mistaken. That is the condensate drain for the Air conditioner.

yes you do get wet carpet from bad heater core. speaking from personal experience.

it drains out the hot air blower outlet under the passenger dash. to change heater core
you have to remove entire dash.

to change heater
