Hey guys, I dont know if there has ever been a thread concerning these two cars, but I must ask. I own the 95 GT and my friend owns the Talon. Now that I bought my stang an exaust, he just want to race me. He tells me every day, to go to the track so that he could smoke me. My other friends say he will beat me, but im not sure. Here are the specifications:

'95 Mustang Gt
-bbk shorty headers
-MAC off-road H-pipe
-MAC catback exaust
-MAC cold air intake
- here is the bad part (AOD [&:])

He just has a cold air intake on his talon, and off-course, manual tranny (basterd). I've driven his talon before, and I must say its pretty darn fast.

Do what do you guys think. Does my stang have a chance against his talon at the 1/4 mile?????????

So nobody has ever raced a talon. Well, I hope I beat him, just so that he shuts up already, hehehe.

I'm not sure if the ESI is a Turbo car, but I imagine if it is it goes fairly well. It should be a good race, I dont imagine the car being that fast if its N/A but who knows. It could be all wheel drive too, which if hes leaving the hole from red line hes going to get a huge jump on you with the stock 2.75 Gears you have. I'd run him off the track first, go from like a 35 mph roll or something. Plus you havent had the car for a while, launches can be tricky even with 220 wheel horse

If I werey ou and you went to the track, I'd have the Fkin brake peggged to the floor and the same thing with the throttle.. Or atl east bring it up to a point where its not spiinning them.

esi is the non turbo talon. the car even with a manual is around high 16's stock.

TSI is the turbo talon. I think you would even beat a TSI dending if it's stock or not.

ESI is non turbo fwd you'll crush him unless he has some major stuff under that hood and he is lieing about it being ESI, sure he didn't say TSI? TSI is turboed 210 hp and awd... ouch lol

ok. with my mods i beat a TSI with no o2 sensors (i was running like ****!)

the TSi is the turbo one, but they aren't all AWD The turbo ones run in the low 15's stock i believe
