I wouldn't go bigger than 6 inches. Once you go bigger than that its just rice.

3 1/2 would be alright, but personally, visible tips on a gt = ew

Off the topic a bit. But fox, do your tail pipes come out strait from the muffler ? or do they bend above the axle ?

I have flowmaster tail pipes, and they bend above the axle with a pretty big curve, seems pretty restrictive to me, and i'm sure i would get alot better sound with strait ones too, if possible.
