Default Battery relocating wire, Amp wire or Summit kit

Ok i was wandering if u could just use 2guage amp wire or bigger to relocate the battery to the back instead of the summit kit. I would thint that wire is wire as long as u get the right size.

if your gonna buy the peices eperately you might as well go with 0gauge, the 2 gauge starts my car but it would be a little less rough if i had gone with 0 gauge, the summit kit sucks, buy a sealed box from a diff. company.

I always like to use 00 gauge welding cable for the battery cable. It must have 300 strands of copper in it not just 25-35 like battery cables. Works a lot bettah.
I make my own battery boxes out of .062 Aluminum.
Dunno which one of them is best but a friend got one of the 'Taylor' brand boxes from Summit and it looks real good, almost as good as mine.......
