Default Arghh, I need 2" spacers for my Flex a Lite fan now, dont I?

I was reading the box the fan came in, and it said it was most likey that some spacers would be needed, I went out and measured the spacing of the bolts on the fan clutch where the oe mustang fan bolts on, and they were way too far apart for the Flex-a-Lite. I measured the spacing of the bolts on the water pump shaft and they fit perfectly. So I cannot bolt the fan to the fan clutch, it must be bolted to the water pump shaft with 2" of spacers. Why didn't I see this anywhere before ordering the damned thing? i asked around, searched for info, looked over wehat it said on the retailer's websites, and nothing about the spacers. This is a pain in the *ss, now I need to find spacers tomorrow cause I need to finish the work Friday. Arghhh

Your local auto parts store should have a 2" spacer in stock.

Ohh ya you don`t want the fan blades all the way in the shroud either. Half in and half out.
