How hard is it to remove all the a/c components and install the a/c eliminator kit. Is it somthing a novice such as my self could do? Let me know. THanx

Default RE: a/c eliminator kit

its not too bad, but i like to think i've got more than novice experience

i removed all of mine from my 88 gt, but i didn't remove anything past the firewall -- just the stuff in the engine bay. you'll have to remove the radiator to get to the condenser, other than that its just nut and bolt stuff i think. be careful if there's freon still in the system -- to check this just take a screwdriver and poke one of the service ports on the lines -- DO NOT inhale that stuff or get it on your skin, just poke real quick and see if a little cloud comes out

i encourage you to give it a shot!!
