Default fuel question

well im about to go fill up and i've been putting in 93 for awhile. but its just to dang expensive and im tired of wasting 30 bucks and not getting but just a little above half a tank. so im going to drop 20 cents and put 87 in it. would this be ok???

How modded is your car and what is your timing set at? I think I would try the 89 first. 87 might be a shock!!!

All of my mods are in my sig. I dont know what the timing is set at, Actually I was going to advance it soon to get some more power and lean it up a little, to much gas smell!!! haha, but just to be safe i might just put it midgrade. that shouldnt do anything should it?

you'd be able to go to 87 i'd think and if it starts to ping put in 89 and it still does, your going to have to use 93, but you shouldn't have to.

if your timing isn't advanced then 87 is fine. My car is at 10* and running 87 has never pinged.
