OK guys here is a write up to fix yout egr CEL. FIRST let me finish putting all the pics and details then reply. I will say you can reply now. Thanks

Step 1 Remove EGR plunger from EGR housing. There are 3 small nuts you need to take off in the back.

Second Step: Take dremel tool or hack saw and cut the plunger shaft so its a little less than 1/4 inch long. U can see in the picture how short mine is. Do not make it to short or your CEL will come on.

Third step: Get a soda bottle cap. LOL yes thats right.

Fourth Step: Take tape and wrap it around the Plunger tight so it pushs the shaft in.

Step 5 plug it in and give it a whirl
