first time at track

so it was my first time at the strip yesterday.. ran it twice ..1st run 15.98 at 89 spinning alot of 1st gear and the 2nd run was a 15.20 at 93 didnt spin as much...

how do them times sound on street tires and 2.73's ....??????

mods.. 1.7rr, tb,cai,k&n..

lemme no wutcha think..

and yes i know i gotta get a set of gears

sounds a bit high, but the spinning would probably explain that.

yea i was got sleepin on the lights 2...and i didnt get to hit 4th ....man i need sum gears

Yeah the 3.73 gears along with some nice upper and lwoer control arms and some good new tires will help out a lot.

sticky tires make a very big difference.

I have a 87 LX 5 speed and I have run a best of 13.9 at 100mph. I have 3.73 gears and a stock motor, so I would get some gears and I bet that will help you out a little.
