Is there a way to modify the auto shifter so that I can manually shift it from 2nd to 3rd?

When I manually shift it from 1st to 2nd I can hold it till aobut 6K rpms, but on the 2nd to 3rd it will shift at about 4900.

T-5 swap......the auto is junk i did the swap over the winter and i love the t-5 ...makes it much more fun to drive

get a manual valve body

 

install some nice gears and GET A SHIFT KIT! no auto should be without one. I had mine installed and its freakin' awesome. Transgo makes some nice kits and Im able to hold rpms in any gear
