dont put water in the battery, that does nothing. its probably your alt not charging, pretty sure its not the ecm

Forget all that up top.If you want to see if its a battery or a alternator start the car up and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery.If the car stays running with the battery disconnected its the battery.But if the car immediately dies its your alternator and or a voltage regulator.

You're kidding right? If you have a battery that is supposed to be filled with water and it's not it will not hold a charge.

And for the record much like the radiator the battery needs distilled water in it not tap water.

My dad had the same problem on his 1989 mustang gt. He solved it by using a better moniter or something, (ill have to ask my dad what it was called when he gets back) You attach it to your battery and it charges your battery when it gets low, you just attach it to a 3 plug extension cord. Its 30 bucks at autozone...

Yes you do have to add water to them if they get low but only use distilled water like in the radiator.
