Clutch pedal 'popped'?
I was cruising around in the stang, driving at ~30 ish, I went to shift into third and as I depressed the clutch pedaled it made a sound like it popped, or something cracked and it kinda gave a little. I got really scared but It still shifted fine. Now it shifts fine, but A.) It makes a poppy/cracking sound like 3 times everytime you depress the clutch. It feels like something that was supposed to hold thepedal inplace broke or something and B.) The disengagement point is now alot sooner. It used to be at the end of the clutch pedal travel now its in the middle.
Keep in mind my tranny is a 5sp Tremec TR 3650 in a 93 lx 5.0, that used to be automatic(swap done by previous owner)

I did see a white-ish plastic piece underneath there that seemed kinda loose/broken but I've never really looked down there so I'm not really positive.
Is this easy to change?
What exactly does it do?
Can I drive my car like this for a few days?
Can I fix it myself?
