thats how you do most of the f/p guages. i just think it looks tacky leavin the whole guage under the hood. especially the big ones.

by the way, your all's tachs are too damn big!

Actually you can put them in the vents or another option is a pod/plate that surrounds your radio and has space for three small gauges... got on sitting right here... just havent installed it yet...

i got the autometer schrader valve adapter for $8.00 and then got a brass 45degree angle with a small extention and a summit liquid filled fuel gauge.. cheap and easy.. works great and i can see it while adjusting the fuel pressure.

that looks a lot better than what i usually see. A lot of the ones i see people using are like 5 inches in diameter

no way i just wanted something simple small and something that does the trick. the only reason i needed the 45 degree angle and the extention was i have edelbrock tall valve covers, and i needed a 1" spacer between the upper and lower intake so it would hit with out the extention..
