actually, like 89-like92 is .44, but my bros 89 is like a 93 engine, and chilton says to set 93's to .52

regapped to .045 and its purring! I removed 3 (THREE) cracked sparkplugs that a shop had put in a while back when i first got a tune up. now the idle is steady and doesnt even flinch. i love these forums.

u regaped them to the same thing? and its running better? i hope u dont really mean .045 its .45.

that's where I was confused. I browsed the forums and saw .44-.45, so i gapped them that way. but that 0 infront of the 45 is VERY important. turns out to be .045 I believe, which is working perfectly now

the measurement wasn't specified, so I probably confused mm with inches
