Default To replace my motor mount...

How much of the car needs to be off the ground? Can I just lift the right corner of the car to change the right mount, or does the whole front end need to be lifted?

put a 2+4 under the oil pan and jack it up, might have to loosen the shroud

You mean all four corners, or just the front end? Sorry if I'm being retarded.

Thanks for the replies folks. So don't lift the car at all? Only the engine?

Ooooh no. Let's not go there again. I asked a similar question a week ago, and there was great discordance over that suggestion. I'm thinking a block of wood under the oilpan would be safe. No good? Thanks again, Tim.

Can you swing it by California? That looks like a neat little doodad. What's it do?
