ok, as you can see i have the cowl induction hood scoop. what do yall think would look better the hood i have on there now or a 87-93 Cobra R hood, both 3" raise. if they were the same color btw. and also the cobra r hood is completely fiberglass, somebody told me i need hoodpins to hold it down, is this true? would you recommend hood pins?

the only cobra R hood i like is the carbon fiber one.

If you get the one that bolts on then you dont need them. However they are a good thing to have with such a light weight hood.

... are you sure youre not talking about the 94 Cobra R hood? because there was no cobra R at all in 87-92, and the 93 had a stock hood. it looks like this:

I have a cobra R hood like you are talking about on a 90 GT and it looks great. It is also a bolt on that uses stock hardware. I bought it from Cobra Designs In Ohio.

He is talking about the 94 hood, but just the one that goes on the fox.

I like the cobra R, I think that is the one I am leaning towards for my own.

You could get a hood that uses stock hardware or you could get a hood w/ hood pins... I perfer hood pins though. And also, I wont give a comment on either hood because I like them both equally the same.

its a tough question... the 3" cowl is getting a little overdone... but i dont think i like the way the cobra R looks on a fox.

then again.. I DID go with a 3.5" cowl.... lol

i think the cobra R looks awesome on a fox, and not nearly as played out as the cowl....yet.

LoL YET is the key word. I think think nothing looks as good as a beast a$s 4' cowl on a fox body.
