36# injectors will just give you a hard time when it comes to tuning it. A local mustang owner has a set of TFS TW heads, Edlebrock performer intake, 10.5:1 compression 306 and a custom cam, he runs 30# injectors with a base pressure of something close to 60psi of fuel.... idk why


personally i think he should be running a stand alone engine management unit.... there are so many easier ways to tune your car then using the stupid EEC

 

30 is ok but if you supercharge 42 and dynotuneing will be best

 

I have a 347 running rich on 24#ers I'll bet you 200 bones he won't need 30's.

 

24#ers will be fine.
I got the same setup with a 190lph fuel pump
afr185's
rpm2 intake
9-1 compression
and to get an air/fuel ratio of 13-1 I only need 29psi fuel pressure.

 

ARE THOES YOUR NUMBERS WITH THAT SETUP. THEY LOOK LOW. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE CLOSER TO 400HP AND 400TQ WITH OUT NITROS

 

he is way above sea level.

i cant tell you how much of a power difference there is with altitude. its crazy

 

i say, if youre donw with it go with 24's. if youre thinking about doing more to it, go ahead and get 30's. you can adjust the f/p to work well with each so its no big deal really.

 

Grabbem runs a 306 and needs 30's. with more clubes i bet he needs 30's to

 

That's one weak stroker if you only need 24s.

 

i think i will go with #30 and see what happens. i may do a small shot down the road.
