Personally I like the hood bra because I think it makes the car more aggressive looking. But thats just my opinion.

That's exactly why I leave the bra on my 90 GT. Until I get my new hood and front bumper cover that is. But I am not getting them until I am ready to paint. So until then the bra remains to cover the blemishes.

I think you should take it off and paint a black stripe down the raised part of your hood. I had a bra on mine untill I did that and it liikd much less cluttered and meaner/sporty looking. I don't think it looks too bad under there....just my opinion

mine is the exact same way, all f*ed up under, i say leave it i am leaving mine on for sure till i get it painted. Thats crazy you have the same scoop too!

i had a bra on my car when i bought it... took it off in spite of the poor quality of paint under it.

then again... im going to repaing my car soon.... IMO the car is better with it off.
