Just tried to hook up sirius and my cigarete lighter isn't working
As the title says i just tried to make my sataliete radio work, spent like 20 mins running all the wires so it looked nice, turned the key and nothing, so i tried my radar dector that was a no go either so i'm assuming my cigarete lighter is dead, any ideas on how i could fix this, i def need the radar dector and the sirius!!

in my 89 the horn is on same fuse as cig. lighter, easy quick check.
btw: dimes fit perfect in there, take a look, lol drove me nuts trying to figure that one out, lol

well i just bought the car recently so i don't know if it worked before, the horn works though i know that for sure so i guess its not the fuse this is kinda lame. I need the radar dector i allready got pulled over today, cop said my exhuast was too loud and my inspection sticker is from like 15 months ago so he didn't like the looks of that but its legal cause i just registered the car couple days ago. Hopefully i can figure this out cuase it would def not be cool to have no cig lighter for power

i'd start with pop-n out the ash tray and having a good look at everything.
then test to see if you have voltage on the wires
i recently had a dime fall in mine, but it blew the fuse for it and the horn.
if your horn is working it might be a loose wire or corroded terminal.
dont know.
