i had to get a smaller alt pulley due to charging problems, so it affected belt size

dude -- go to napa or autozone, park out front.

take your belt off, and cut it.

route it around the pullies how you want it, and use some chalk to mark how long it is when it wraps around. know what i mean?? then measure that and go inside and get your belt. if its too tight, take it back in and get a bigger one --- too loose, take it back, get a smaller one. have fun, experiment :P
