ah, they werent there when i saw the thread the first time. it sounds good idling, idk something about flowmasters, i just love that classic muscle car sound...

You know what? Everyone says that Flowmasters make your mustang sound like every other Mustang.....just curious....what are you guys going to be saying in 5 more years when everyone has SLPS? Lol....theres something to tink about....Im sticking with my flows...

Tip dude...if you want to be just loud...go with a dumped H-pipe....you want to sound really good, but not be so loud...everyone has their "own" preference. Go on some web sites...listen to some soundclips, cause someone might tell you something sounds good...but you might think it sounds like ****. Thats what ive figured out....some of my buddies are like "hey there's this new 5.0 in town, it sounds so badass..." and when i finally run into the guy and hear it....hahahahaha, my moms trailblazer is louder or just more throaty.

P.S. Whats so bad about sounding like every other Mustang? Mustangs sound badass!!!!

i really think every mustang has their own sound, u know combos of muffler h or x pipes, type of mods to engine.... SO many things that can make your exaust sound diff, but to each his own...

i dont want to stir up anybody badside but i just wanted to say that the SLP LM sound like a really really pissed off ricer.. they sound great until they start to crackle a lot.. personaly i like the deeper stuff.. im not saying they dont perform well cuase i dont know.. im just saying i dotn like the sound of them.. just my .02

I have just a simple exhaust set up, Mac Shorties, Mac off road H-pipe, Flowmaster 40's with dumps, and i guess you cant really call it exhaust, but i have an F cam. Everyone says i have one of the best 5.0's they've ever heard. Not bragging or anything. When i punch it....its loud as hell, its not a high pitched loud, but its just loud! My buddy has heard me about a mile and a half from his house when ive flloored it.
