I used industrial carb cleaner..only napa sells it in a 3 gallon can for 50.00 it lasts for years....but do not leave alum parts in it over 8 hours or it will disappear..no ****! it cleans my carbs like new with no scraping....and the nasty **** is from oil being pulled from the valve cover
