im putting new uphosltry in my mustang and i cant figure out how to get the head rest off.how do you remove the head rest from the seat on a 1985 mustang? also is there any other tips about putting on the new upholstry? thanks

 

Don't know about a stang. But I had a 85 chevy celebrity station wagon in highschool (don't laugh, it was a bedroom on wheels, sucka) and my buddies just yanked the head rest off and threw it out the window one night. It might come off with a little elbow grease.
