I (along with a buddy) Installed a MBRP Street Exhaust on my GT
Hey again, all!
As the title says, we installed a MBRP street exhaust system on my GT. This mustang is my first 'stang, and on top of that it's the first car that i've ever been able to modify. So, driving around with this new exhaust system is an adjustment. That being said.. OMG it's awesome. I love the sound, it sounds angry at the world. It's fantastic.
After all that, I'm not sure if i'm noticing a decrease in performance, or if i'm looking for an increase that i'm not finding. The engine is otherwise stock, with an intake in the planning stages, probably the Airaid. The system is a 3" system with 4.5" or 4.0" tips (can't remember of the top of my head). Did i make the car slower? Or am i just in my own head? Have any of you out there seen/felt significant performance gains? Any gains?
Thanks, all!
