Default cowl induction

Looking for some feedback on Harwood hoods, specifically the cowl ones. Any info would be really appericiated. I've ordered 2 Cervinis in the past 2 months but they've both come damaged![:@]

Good idea AdderMk2. Hey Riceeater I heard the same thing about Harwood, apparently they are really well built hoods. I've got a line on a used one.......mint condition no damage at all, for around $400. Only catch is it's the 4" cowl (little big maybe?), I was hoping to get the 2.5" This is driving me nucking futs! All this trouble just so I can bolt up my GT40 intake![:@] What do you guys think of the 4" cowls?

i dont really like cowl hoods personally. and i agree 4 is big. are you sure you need a raised hood for a gt40 intake?

I have the stock GT hood and run the GT 40 intake with no problems. It fits fine.

I wanted to put the 1" spacer on as well. No way that fits, but you guys are right it does fit without the spacer. Without the spacer the fuel rails get in the way. I don't know if this is just an issue for 88's but the intake won't drop in with the stock fuel rails, the rails don't allow the intake to sit right on the lower.

gotcha. well if you're gettin the 4 inch for cheap you can run it for a while then sell it later on. especially if its in good condition.
