I have to disagree. With the prevalence electronic car alarms for the last 7 years or so thieves have had little experience with wheel locking devises for a number of years. Have you seen someone get past a club in 10 seconds without cutting through the wheel (which would require the thief to carry around a hacksaw blade)?

breaking the club would require some big tools

not like cutting a few wires to bypass an alarm...

+1 I agree. OR if you want to spend the money you can go with one of them fansy alarms where you have a pad and you have to put a code in to start the car... I dont know any brands and how good they are but my GF has one.

they dont brake "the club", they cut your steering wheel. you can cut
thru your steering wheel in 2secs with big bolt cutters. then out slides the club.

they say to use a club and a pedal club, the more the thief has to screw with
the more likely he is to walk on to the next car with nothing.

the best thing is to get a car alarm that offers a kill swith
with numbered key pad, to start car you have to type in PIN.
usually only like a $50 add-on to a good car alarm.

$10, hide it under the dash http://www.killswitchcentral.com/mustangfi838485868.htm

i use a momo quick release steering wheel hub. when i park it i take the steering wheel with me and you can't just buy the same hub because the chuck is a key and only your wheel would fit it. it's a pain to lug the steering wheel around but i drive my car like once a week and besides i have a cool looking steering wheel. this is in adition to a kill switch btw its mainly for when people glance in the car they know they aint taking it no were but a straight line.
