Best way to find out is to do the mods and then run the 1/8, then you will know exactly That is what I do

It would definentally be better, don't the GT40's raise your compression? There's a new set of p heads for sale around here for 400 bucks.

Or you could get some 69-70 351w heads, theyre basically the same thing as the gt-40's. Destump the exhaust side, and get hardened valve seats put in, IMO theyre actually better than the GT40's.
