the intercepter motors were identicle to the stock gt and lx motors, they did NOT come with the gt40 anythings and did not have an aluminum driveshaft. the differences between the interceptor package and the regular 5.0 package was optional silicon hoses, oil cooler (same as 93 cobra r), full size spare tire, one key for the locks and ignition and of course it had the lights if ordered as a traffic car

lol...300? thats funny. and i was guessing they might have had an aluminum d/s because the newer crown cop cars have them.

Not even close man. They had a trans cooler, oil cooler, bigger radiator and silicone hoses. The engine it self was just a regular 5.0 HO. I don't know how these rumors start.

I have a question? I know someone with an 88 lx patrol car. it has been sitting next to his house for almost two years and he says the clutch is out of it. I have been thinking about offering some money for it. What are they worth?
