well I don't feel too bad then I have a 95 w/91 5.0 and I get 22mpg city/highway mixed

Maybe he has high gears and a light foot, I have got a best of 24mpg on the highway w/ 3.73, I average 22 all around.

more of a light foot. i dont really get a chanse to push it arround here. a kid got killed yesterday on a local road dragracing his brother. for reasons like that i dont push it. and the fact that gas on the way to work thismorning was $3.23 per gallon.
and my 5.0 is compleatly stock other then some flowmasters. hoping to change that when i get some money.

dude... ive got stock gears in my car and i cant be in 5th gear at 40 mph... wtf makes you think your stock *** lx has the ***** to be in 5th at 35.... you would be idling and have 0 power... not to mention it would actually waste gas to be that low in the power band.. Hit the brakes once and your car would stall
