f***ing rain
My car runs perfect when it is dry out but when it is wet it misfires above 2000 rpm's. I checked the obvious.....the distributor cap, but it looked good. Should i replace it anyways? What else could it be. It's driving me nuts, because it is raining everyday in chicago. Any suggestions would be great. thanks in advance

RE: f***ing rain
Man we had a wicked storm roll through last night and a few drops here today. Im 20 minutes west of downtown. Its obviously a moisture problem, especially once the humidity gets up there along with the rain. I would try a cap and rotor, its easy and cheap, dialectic grease on both ends of all plug wires also, and the coil wire

Oddly enough, my car idles just a bit rougher on cloudy days. I think mine is an A/F issue though.

Don't let me fool you. My car runs like a m*therf*cker! Not 347 stroker "runs like a m*therf*cker." But rather, I-have-trouble-believing-it's-quite-stock "runs like a m*therf*cker. I still haven't ruled out that my rough idle is due to a mild cam. At any rate, I enjoy it immensely.
