you'll take him with ease. ive only really "raced" one mercedes and that was a big boat for one and it was older, some older black dude was driving it. i own an 86 and its a pretty quick car. weighs 3200lbs with me an a 1/2 tank of gas =D *work at Valley Frieghliner. we have a scale*

 

You'll smoke him no problem if you can shift even reasonably fast. I burned a 330ci a few days ago by half a car length, and I had a passenger (he didn't) and a few easy bolt-ons.
