little prob here...
the car needs to be level to check fluid.

Not sure where to look for missing things under the dash. All I can tell you would be to just get a light and look over everything.
To check tranny fluid lift the car up on the front or right front. Then look up onto the right side of the tranny and you'll see two plugs that have a square head in them. The top one is where you check and add tranny fluid. Also lower the car back down when you check it. If yours was like mine then you have to jack the car up to break the plug loose. The square take a 3/8" rachet to break it loose.
